Winners of the MDJ 1st Birthday Giveaway!

The MDJ 1st birthday giveaway far surpassed my expectations with over 300 entries between the comments, email subscriptions, blog posts and facebook additions.  I guess a new camera from Canon is a desirable Christmas gift.

All entries were placed in an excel spreadsheet and a web based random number generator chose the winners.

Here are the prizes along with their winners:

6th Prize:  A copy of the book The Lazy Investor.  For those of you who haven't heard of this book, it's written by a successful investor, Derek Foster, who retired at the age of 34.

Winner: Jason97

5th Prize: A copy of the book  The Brainwashing of an American Investor.  You can read my book review here.

Winner: Derrick26

4th and 3rd Prize: $25 Amazon/Chapters Gift Certificate each

Winners: PJWilson and Susan Tai

2nd Prize: $50 Amazon/Chapters Gift Certificate

Winner: Alchemist7

Grand Prize: Canon A570 IS with Camera Case and 1GB SD Memory (sponsored by RedFlagDeals.com)

Grand Prize Winner:  Preet Banerjee

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you all for participating.  I will be contacting the winners via email in the next few hours for your mailing addresses.
