Canadian Tour of Personal Finance blogs.

  • A while back I posted about some Personal Finance Carnivals that I participated in. Now, Canadian Money Advisor has started the first ever Canadian Personal Finance Carnival - The Canadian Tour of Personal Finance Blogs. Stay tuned, I will be posting about the articles when they are released.
  • I haven’t posted about AGLOCO in a while since there hasn’t been much news about it. According to the company, AGLOCO will be releasing their view bar THIS MONTH. It will be released in the order that people signed up. So those with referral ID’s starting with BBBB will get their chance to be the first to download the view bar. If this is the first time you’ve heard about AGLOCO, you can read more about the AGLOCO concept here.
  • As this blog is becoming more popular, the SPAM that I have to filter is getting ridiculous. As a result, I’ve had to install some anti-spam blog plugins. Please contact me if you leave a comment and it “disappears”. New commenters will get the regular “waiting for moderation” message.

Happy Friday the 13th! :)

I’d be intrigued if there could be a discussion on Derek Foster’s idea put forth about paying for an automobile. His concept was to borrow money to earn investment income and then take that investment income stream to pay for a vehicle. This way you can deduct the interest from your taxable income.
(I could enjoy further benefit in my situation because I’m able to write off the business use of my personal car. A calculator may be needed to determine which is the best option for me.)

  2. Hey MillionDollarJourney,
I’m just rounding up the articles for the Tour. Anything Yet?

If so just post the article on your site, and I’ll drop by later today to review it.
Please make a big note that the article is for the tour.

Also, if you get a chance, please take time to visit all of the other participants blogs and comment on their posts.

Thanks for you time on this.
