The current situation in Darfur is horific. People are walking week after week on a journey for survival. I spent a year in Sudan and Rwanda back in 93. The UN said "Never Again" after Rwanda, but it is happening again now in Sudan. So I would suggest using the money to support Sudan (my favourite agency that is working in Sudan is Samaritans Purse International Relief - their Cdn office is in Calgary.)
