Downtime Yesterday

I apologize for the downtime yesterday, my web host 1&1 was changing domain servers where this site was situated. I would have warned you guys beforehand, but they didn’t give me any warning which I’m not happy with.

1&1 is usually pretty reliable as I’ve been hosting websites with them for about 4 years now, and yesterdays incident was my first real complaint. So I’m going to stick with them for a while longer and hopefully no more down time without warning.

Anyways, have a great Saturday!

  2. FT,

I wonder if that was part of my problem. I was trying to switch domains (to a new one on 1&1) on the weekend and it didn’t work.

I guess I’ll have to try it again next weekend.

  3. Hey CDream,

That could have been the problem. However, switching/starting domains usually takes around 24 hrs to propagate.

Are you switching to Wordpress? If so, let me know if you need any help.

  4. FT,

I gave the switch 48 hours to kick in and still nothing.

I’m staying with Blogger for now and I got a helpful email from someone whom had a similar problem with 1&1 and Blogger so hopefully I can get it running next weekend.
